The phase relationships in the Gd–Co–Al ternary system at 500°C have been investigated mainly by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersion spectroscopy. The existence of two ternary compounds GdCo0.74Al1.26 and Gd2Co2Al has been confirmed. Twenty-two single-phase regions (including solid solution regions of the binary compounds), 43 two-phase regions, and 22 three-phase regions were found to exist at this isothermal section. In this paper, three kinds of annealing methods with different cooling rates are used to prepare low-density polyethylene (LDPE) samples with different microstructure in crystallinity. The effects of crystallinity on space charge properties are investigated. It was found that homo-charges are easier to accumulate in high rate cooling sample and hetero-charges are easier to accumulate near cathode in low rate cooling sample. It was also found that charge movement and neutralization occurs with the increases of the applied field and the voltage applying duration. Based on these results, the influence of crystallinity on space charge accumulation is emphasized. 相似文献

By applying shortest path analysis in stochastic networks, we introduce a new approach to obtain the reliability function of time-dependent systems with standby redundancy. We assume that not all elements of the system are set to function from the beginning. Upon the failure of each element of the active path in the reliability graph, the system switches to the next path. Then, the corresponding elements are activated and consequently the connection between the input and the output is established. It is also assumed each element exhibits a constant hazard rate and its lifetime is a random variable with exponential distribution. To evaluate the system reliability, we construct a directed stochastic network called E-network, in which each path corresponds with a minimal cut of the reliability graph. We also prove that the system failure function is equal to the density function of the shortest path of E-network. The shortest path distribution of this new constructed network is determined analytically using continuous-time Markov processes. 相似文献

The influence of swirl (flow rotation) on the stability of a rod in annular leakage flow is investigated. Under the assumption of laminar flow and plane vibrations (no whirling), it is shown that the swirl acts, in effect, as an elastic foundation with negative foundation stiffness, the magnitude being proportional to the mean circumferential flow rate squared. Consequently, swirl always lowers the critical axial flow speed in case of divergence instability of a rod of finite length. Numerical analysis is needed to predict the effect of swirl in case of flutter instability of a finite rod; this is not performed here. However, for the flutter-like instability of travelling waves in an infinite rod-channel system, it is shown analytically that swirl again always lowers the critical axial flow speed. Finally, it is found that by circumferential flow alone, the travelling waves are extinguished at a certain flow rate, followed by a divergence-like instability. 相似文献

A globally convergent Broyden-like method for solving a bi-obstacle problem is proposed based on its equivalent lower-dimensional linear complementarity problem. Twelve-membered cyclic cis- and trans-β-lactams 1b and 2b and the corresponding cyclic cis- and trans-β-amino acid enantiomers, 1a, 1c and 2a, 2c were prepared through the CAL-B-catalysed enantioselective ring cleavage of racemic cis-13-azabicyclo[10.2.0]tetradecan-14-one, (±)-1, and trans-13-azabicyclo[10.2.0]tetradecan-14-one, (±)-2. High enantioselectivities (E >200) were observed for the ring opening of both the cis- and trans-β-lactams when the Lipolase-catalysed reactions were performed with 0.5 equiv of H2O in i-Pr2O at 70 °C. The resolved β-lactams 1b and 2b (yield ⩾47%) and β-amino acids 1a and 2a (yield ⩾32%) could be easily separated. 相似文献

The host potential of two closely-related compounds, TETROL [(+)-(2R,3R)-1,1–4,4-tetraphenylbutane-1,2,3,4-tetraol] and DMT [(−)-(2R,3R)-2,3-dimethoxy-1,1,4,4-tetraphenylbutane-1,4-diol], were compared when recrystallized from two different classes of guests, namely toluene, ethylbenzene, cumene and aniline, N-methylaniline, N,N-dimethylaniline. TETROL formed complexes with only aniline and N-methylaniline (host:guest ratios, 2:3 and 2:4), while DMT included all six guests with a consistent ratio (2:1). Aniline competition experiments showed that TETROL preferred aniline (67%), followed by N-methyl- (29%) and N,N-dimethyl- (4%) aniline; surprisingly, this order was exactly reversed for DMT [N,N-dimethylaniline (62%) > N-methylaniline (32%) > aniline (6%)]. Crystal diffraction analyses revealed that TETROL formed stabilizing hydrogen bonds with guests, behaving as both donor and, for the first time, acceptor (in 2TETROL∙4N-methylaniline). DMT did not form bonds of this type with any guests. Furthermore, the host packing was isostructural for all DMT complexes but was guest-dependent for TETROL.
